I'm a lobster!

I just bought myself some wacky trousers for £3
woohoo :)

My lobster dance!

My sister Rachel said, "Nooo Jenny...put them back! When would you wear those?" Boy am I glad I didn't listen her? My lobster trousers are the greatest thing in the world! They look really snazzy, are super comfy and are a great conversation starter. If you see a pair of lobster trousers in the shops, I would highly recommend.

A Dinner Floor Party! :)

Hello!

I had my first ever dinner floor party last night! I don't have many photos as I didn't want to blind my guest with my camera whilst they were tucking into my delicious food. I have never cooked for so many before so it was a little bit stressful, but very successful and good fun! :)

Ladies Who Lunch

Natasha and I went to Malmaison for lunch and a fashion show. We got free champagne and a goody bag yay! :) Little did we know that it would contain a toothbrush!! High hopes were dashed but the food was delicious and the clothes were darling. Check out the new shop It's Darling on Holburn Street!

Natasha with her ticket for the fashion show.

A toothbrush!?

We were stuffed after this!

I wore:
  • A top I bought from France unfortunately I can't remember the name of the shop and it doesn't have a lable. I wore it back to front as I liked the ruffle design being at the back (sadly no pictures).
  • Denium Leggings which were £10 from Oasis.
  • Belt from Matalan.
  • Shoes £19 from Marks and Spencers.
  • The clutch bag was my grandma's.

Natasha wears:

  • A lovely kitten dress from Coco Violet. Sadly the store closed down recently, however I think some items are still available online so it's worth checking out their website!
  • Matching kitten necklace also from Coco Violet.
  • White shoes from ASOS.
  • Cardigan from New Look.

A lovely afternoon cycle :)

Earlier on this week I went for a lovely summer cycle, which I do most days (unless it's too rainy) and I came across a wonderful crumbling down old chapel and couldn't resist jumping off my bike to have a nosey inside...

My lovely Jenny bag :) It is far too small to take anywhere, but I put my phone and lipstick inside it for this particular journey. After all... a girl can't leave the house without her lipstick!

Secret windows.

Spooky!

It was far to overgrown to go inside so I just peered in through the windows instead.

I also wasn't wearing appropriate foot ware!

French Macaroons

During my visit to Paris in the Spring, I fell in love with the many cakes and pastries. One thing in particular that caught my eye was the delightful French macaroon, so colourful, delicate and delicious! The perfect treat to have with your afternoon coffee, hmmm!

A photo from my trip.
J'adore Paris!

Pictures of my macaroons coming soon! ....

There's nothing like...

A nice hot bubble bath and a good book :)
(As I enjoyed the Camomile Lawn so much I am now reading Part of The Furniture.)

Happy films, a facemask and a manicure :)

I'm supposed to be going out tonight to a friend's birthday party/housewarming BUT I'm just too tired! All I want to do is, stay in, read my book and go to bed early with a nice cup of tea. ♥ Whatta geek haha!

Last Weekend :)

Was GREAT!  I invited my two friends, Linsey and Robyn round to my flat on Friday evening to test out my cocktail making skills...

We made lovely White Russians and Woowoos.

Linsey with our drinks and yummy snacks.

End of the night squash! :)

We listened to lots of cool crackly records and even ended up singing ‘Summer Holiday’ by Cliff Richards at the top of our lungs!! Oh dear! Here’s how that came about...

Linsey: Cliff is sooo uncool!
Robyn: Yeh who would liseten to Cliff Richards?
Me: I know, I don’t even like any of his songs!
Robyn: Oh apart from ‘Devil Woman’ that’s quite catchy!
Linsey: Yeh, I like that song too!
Me: Oh and I like 'Summer Holiday'! That’s a classic and cool because it was on the ‘Young Ones’.
Robyn: “We’re all going on a summer holiday…”
All: Break out into song (badly).

Ahhh we all love Cliff really! ...eek!

Saturday

I had a long lie, a nice bath and started reading the Camomile Lawn (which is a bit of a geeky book, but I really enjoyed it). In the evening despite the heavy rain, I ventured out to see a cool bluegrass band at the blue lamp with my friends Blake and Tucker. Walking home was very surreal because waterfalls were pouring off buildings and men were running through the street looking like they were racing each other, but really they were just rushing to the next pub. The rain was crazy, but I was nice and dry under my lovely colourful umbrella that fits about 4 people under it.

:)

I wore:

My cosy comfy shawl from topshop, jeans from topshop, a bright green top from matalan and my colourful brolly was from a pound shop.

Sunday

On Sunday I saw Harry Potter with my family. What a fantastic film!! I love Harry Potter! We saw it in 3D and I got cool, round, harry-shaped specs -yay!
